Have a good read

February 3, 2007 by cppreacher

Have you ever wanted a great liberal arts education.  The key is reading.  But the question arises - what do you read?  If you will devote 15 minutes a day to reading - you can work your way through the Harvard 5 foot bookshelf.  A great anthology of literature.  The following link takes you to the book shelf and each day there is a link for that 15 minutes of reading.

If you’re curious about the distance you’re going to walk or run then check this out.  This site uses google maps and allows you to map out the path you are walking.  It gives the distance between each point and the total distance.  You can also put in your weight and it will tell you how many calories you’ll burn.

Skip the fog on the bathroom mirror

February 3, 2007 by cppreacher

Something I just tried morning.  Put a small amount of shaving cream on the mirror and then wipe off.  My bathroom doesn’t have an exhaust fan so every time I shower, I have to deal with fogged mirrors.  This did the trick.  No fog this morning.
